The semi-finals of the 2016 BC Bash are slated for the Newton grounds in Surrey, British Columbia this morning (10am start, local time) with the winners then meeting in the Final at 2pm (local time). Calgary United plays Edmonton Challengers on the Newton East ground in one semi-final. Seattle Moose lock horns with Delta Champions in the other semi-final on the Newton West ground. Spectators are welcome at the BC Bash where “free food and snacks” will be available, according to the event advertising on the Cricket BC website and facebook pages. Eleven teams took part in group matches to decide the three group winners. The fourth spot in the semi-finals was determined on run rate criteria.
