In 1867, Canadian Prime Minister John McDonald declared cricket as the national game of Canada. Our aim is to raise the profile of Canada’s original national game by developing and promoting in universities and colleges all over this great country.
Canadian College Cricket is a sports organization dedicated to creating an infrastructure for University/College Cricket. By encouraging, developing and promoting Cricket amongst Canadian Universities & Colleges. CCC conducts various events throughout the year. Some major events include the National Championship, the Provincial Indoor Championship, the Indoor League, Home/Away games, and the All Star series with American Colleges & Universities.
Canadian College Cricket in association with American College Cricket is one of the largest cricket leagues in Canada and North America. Overall, there are close to 100 colleges & universities, which are members of CCC & ACC including Harvard, Yale, Ryerson, Waterloo, Laurier and many more. Many of CCC players have gone to represent Canada at the national level.
Some of our events have been live streamed and available to viewers on YouTube and on our website. In addition, ESPN and TV Asia have broadcast a few of these events as well. Sony recently became ACC’s media partner. Please see some of the broadcasting /live-streamed links are below.

CCC has helped many schools establishing cricket in their school. Some schools have already realized the value cricket can add to their brand and it would be fair to say that these schools are ahead of the game in terms of recruiting students locally and internationally.
The CCC executive team with the support of club presidents are working day & night in the success of this program. CCC vision is to have cricket in each college & university of Canada by 2022.
