The HP XI won the toss and chose to bat in today’s match at Maple Leaf CC. After 10 overs they were 57/1, Ayoub Ahmad Zai out for 26. Akash Gill went on to make 54, Shan Anantharajah 42, and Arslan Khan 44 as the HP XI made 296/7 in 50 overs. Bermuda made a good start in reply with Onais Bascome and Dion Stovell leading the way with 88 and 59 respectively and with 5 overs left Bermuda needed just 32 with 4 wickets in hand. A run out and a caught and bowled in the 46th over, bowled by Shazaad had Bermuda 8 down, and Shazaad struck again in the 48th over. A run out in the final over left the HP XI the victors by 17 runs, leaving the series tied 1-1, with one match abandoned.
