In the midst of a long media release from the ICC, the site of the World Cricket League Division 2 tournament was confirmed as Namibia, taking place in February. Canada qualified for the tournament after finishing 2nd at the WCL Division 3 tournament earlier this year. The top teams from the Division 2 competition go on to the World Cup qualifier, to be held in Zimbabwe in March 2018.
