Ryerson play Laurier in first college women’s matches

“Friday November 24, 2017 was a historic day for Canadian College Cricket. Canadian College Cricket hosted its first ever women’s cricket series between Ryerson Rams and Laurier Golden Hawks. Ryerson Rams, led by their captain, Hirra Farooqi, commuted to Laurier with a bus full of 35 passionate and excited players and fans to participate in a historical first ever women’s cricket series. Ryerson Rams clinched a 2-0 series victory over the Laurier Golden Hawks by winning both highly contested matches between both teams. Both teams showed a great display of skills and talent in every aspect of the game and proved that #womencan””
