More details emerge on T20 plans

Peter Della Penna interviewed Cricket Canada President Ranjit Saini for CricInfo, and more details of the planned league are outlined in his article. Highlights include:-
– Six teams will take part.
– A minimum of four Canada eligible players must be included in each 15-man squad, but there’s no requirement any Canada players must be in starting elevens.
– One of the six teams will be made entirely of West Indian overseas players, aside from the four Canada resident players – the WICB apparently are sponsoring the effort.
– Proposed venues are Maple Leaf Cricket Club, Sunnybrook Park and Mavis Cricket Ground.
– Several million dollars have been committed by Mercuri to support building of a new stadium.
