Canadian national player, Ruvindu Gunasekera scored a century for SL Ports Authority C.C. in the ongoing SLC Premier League Tier A cricket tournament in a 3-day game started on 21-23 Dec. Ruvindu’s 105 included 11×4’s and 2×6’s and was made in 169 balls. He was part of a double hundred partnership with R. Nimantha (120) for the 3rd wicket when the side had lost both openers for 42. At stumps on day-2, opponents Ragama C.C. which includes several SL national players, had made a strong reply with 177/1 in 43 overs. The match will be continued on Sunday. (Final day)

Srimantha Wijeyeratne, turning out for Murrumbeena C.C. in Victoria, Melbourne made 80 in 51 balls with 8x4s & 3x6s in a game vs. Middle Park C.C. on 15 December. He also made 27 runs in 31 balls (4x4s) on Friday, 21 December Vs Aspendale C.C. Both games were won by Murrumbeena C.C.
