ROPSSAA Spring Indoor Cricket Entrants

The line-up of participating schools has been set for the 2019-2020 Region of Peel Secondary Schools Athletic Association (ROPSSAA) indoor cricket season. There are 24 schools set to play in the Senior Boys competition, 7 schools are to play in the Girls competition and 6 schools will compete for the Junior Boys championship.
These competitions usually begin after the March break. Schedules have yet to be posted, but the playoffs are due to be played in May. The top four teams from the three divisions of the Senior Boys event will progress to the playoffs. The top team in each of the three divisions plus the highest ranked second place school automatically advance to the quarter-final stage, set for 7-8th May. The rest of the top four from each division will compete in the opening round of the playoffs to be played on May 4th and 5th. The semi-finals of the Senior Boys competition are scheduled for May 12th with the final to follow on May 14th.
The top four in the girls competition will advance to the semi-finals on May 6, the winners advance to the Girls championship decider on May 13th.
The top four in the junior boys event will advance to the semi-finals on May 6th with the final to follow on May 11th.
The ROPSSAA is also seeking people to serve as cricket umpires in the upcoming tournament.

North Division: Cardinal Ambrozic, Castlebrooke, Chingaucousy, Heart Lake, Jean Augustine, Louise Arbour, North Park and Sandalwood.
Central Division: Ascension, Brampton Centennial, Central Park, Central Peel, Clarkson, David Suzuki, Linclon Alexander, St Francie Xavier and Turner Fenton.
South Division: Applewood, Erindale, Father Goetz, John Fraser, Mentor College, Rick Hansen, Stephen Lewis and TL Kennedy.
Girls Division: Castlebrooke, David Suzuki, Heart Lake, Lincoln Alexander, Mentor College, North Park and Sandlwood.
Junior Boys Division: Castlebrooke, Central Peel, North Park, Stephen Lewis, TL Kennedy and Turner Fenton.
