The colourful and action-packed cricket festival for a cause has come back to the Peel Region.
Sponsored by CIBC, the unique fair — a combination of sports, music and entertainment — is again expected to amuse members of the community in the cities of Brampton and Mississauga.
Since 2009, Corporate Canada Cricket Club, a not-for-profit club, is presenting Mayor’s Cricket Festivals to provide a platform to its charity partners to showcase their programs in the Toronto and Peel Regions, including Brampton and Mississauga.
“It’s our third year and the festival is getting better and better,” said Fasih Masood, founder and president of Corporate Canada Cricket Club. “People’s response has always been amazing because it’s a cricket for promoting healthy lifestyle and multiculturalism.”
