Toronto’s young players will soon be able to get free professional cricket training as a batch fresh coaches passed out at a graduation ceremony in Toronto.
The Valley Park Go Green Cricket Field Project — Canada’s first-ever green field — last week celebrated the graduation of its first team of coaches at the Cricket and Sports Centre of Excellence.
“We are delighted and proud of what we have achieved,” Lisa Green, co-chair of Valley Park Go Green Cricket Field told SAF. “We have worked so hard to get to this point, it’s a triumph and now we are eager to engage kids in the game of cricket.”
