The York Region Athletic Association has released the schedule for the Markham CIBC Trophy 2013 on Wednesday May 8. The Markham event is part of the Greater Toronto Area CIMA Mayor’s Schools Cricket Championship that concludes with a grand final on June 1, 2013 at Sunnybrook Park, Toronto.
Five schools have entered the Markham event that will be played at Fairtree Park. The competing schools are: Milliken Mills HS, Bayview, Millfield CI, Stephen Lewis CI (York Region) and Bur Oak SS. The opening game, in a championship comprising games of 10 overs per side, is scheduled for an 8am start with the Final due at 4pm.
The Mayor of Markham is expected to be at the tournament at 11am.
