Etobicoke teen Saajan Patel will get to live out a lifetime dream later this month, when he and his fellow Cricket Across the Pond scholarship winners will travel to London, England to visit the birthplace of their favourite sport.
“Most exciting for me is that London is known as the home of cricket and moreover, we’re going to Lord’s Cricket Grounds, which is pretty much the home ground of cricket,” said the 18-year-old North Albion Collegiate Institute grad. “Going there is a dream of mine and I’m very excited for that.”
