Canada now have broken their duck at the Caribbean 20-20 competition  through their match with the Leeward Islands being rained out completely. A point is meagre compensation, with the experience of playing one of the weaker teams in the competition being more important.

In the Interprovincial tournament the Ontario representative XI won for the third time, and Alberta picked up their second win; both are undefeated. Ontario beat Eastern Canada in a rain-affected match, and Alberta beat BC by 3 wickets.
