ATN acquires Canadian cricket rights

Canadian broadcaster Asian Television Network (ATN) has signed deals with a multitude of international cricket boards for the rights to 1115 days of live cricket over then next five years. ATN, Canada’s largest south Asian broadcaster, has acquired rights from the governing bodies of Indian, South African, Australian, and Zimbabwean cricket for some 76 Test matches, 135 One Day Internationals, 150 Twenty20 games, and 450 domestic games until 2018. The games, which will include the Hong Kong sixes, Australia’s Big Bash league, a multitude of Indian domestic tournaments, and Indian series against South Africa, Australia, Sri Lanka, and the West Indies, will be shown on the broadcaster’s ATN Cricket Plus and CBN channels.
