There were wins for Centurions (against Brampton Masters Tranzac) and Toronto Cricket Club (against Vikings) in Saturday’s Elite Division Playoffs, based on the updated schedule of playoff matches. Brampton Masters Tranzac, the regular season winners in the Elite Division, now face Toronto CC on Sunday (September 29) at Maple Leaf CC, King City to decide who will face Centurions in next Saturday’s (October 5) Elite Championship Final.
A Brampton Masters team did advance to next Saturday’s Premier Division final where the opposition will be the winners of Sunday’s game between between Headstart Easterns and Victoria Park at Maple Leaf CC.
The TDCA championship finals take place this Sunday (September 29) in Divisions 1 through 5, with next Saturday allocated as the reserve day. The sun is shining in Toronto this Sunday morning so there must be good prospects of all these finals being completed today.
The finalists in Division One are Yorkshire and Thorncliffe Boys, while in Division Two Ghaznavi meet Civics. Both these finals are due at Maple Leaf CC.
The Division Three and Four finals are scheduled for G. Ross Lord Park. APMCC play Bangla in the Division Three final, with Ahmediya challenging Lankans for the Division Four championship.
