The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced that Uganda will host the ICC World Cricket League Division 3 from October 26 to November 2, 2014. Six teams will compete in the event, with the top two earning promotion to ICC World Cricket League (WCL) Division 2, which will be held in early 2015.

The participating teams in ICC WCL Division 2 are host country Uganda, Nepal, Bermuda, the USA and the top two teams from ICC WCL Division 4, which is to be played in Singapore from June 21 to 28, 2014.

The top two countries from ICC WCL Division 3 will advance to ICC WCL Division 2 which includes Canada, Kenya, Namibia and the Netherlands. ICC WCL Division 2 will provide the opportunity to qualify for the ICC World Cricket League Championship and the ICC Inter-Continental Cup.
