Alberta’s United wins western JR Ross

Cricket Canada reports:-
“The much-hyped final between Cosmos and United lived up to its expectations in the first innings. Cosmos winning the toss put United into bat. While United struggled midway with 5 down for 118 runs, their middle order showed great resilience and batted through the innings to set 231 which seemed like a respectable target. After more rain and implementation of Duckworth Lewis, Cosmos was set to chase 203 in 39 overs. The disciplined bowling from United restricted Cosmos from chasing down the reduced target. United CC was crowned champions as they closed out the final game by a massive 143 runs”
