Canada easily won their final warm up match against an Americas XI in Texas. The Americas XI batted first and at one point were 82/2 after Junaid Siddqui had taken two early wickets. Nikhil Dutta then destroyed the innings with an impressive spell of 6/26, and the Americans were bowled out for 131. Gunasekera led the way with an unbeaten 58 with good support from Dhaliwal as Canada won by 5 wickets with 9 balls to spare.
Canada head to the Americas T20 in good shape, with most of the batsman scoring runs in the series, and with solid performances in the field.
