With qualification assured, Canada are now aiming for first place in the Americas T20 after their fifth win. Bermuda were restricted to 114, and despite an early scare 68 from Jimmy Hansra gave Canada a 7 wicket win. Bermuda batted first. A strong performance in the field, led by Cecil Pervez’s 3/17 kept them to a sub par 114/7. Canada got off to a poor start, losing Cheema and Gunasekera from consecutive balls at the end of the first over. Jimmy Hansra led the recovery and the fifty came up in the 10th over. He completed his personal half-century and with Wijayratne (26) put together a match winning partnership.
