Canada U-19 coach looking forward to Americas Cup competition

With four championships since the tournament started in 2001 and an unbeaten record in the last competition two years ago, coach Errol Barrow expects Canada to retain the Americas Cup Under-19 crown in Bermuda next week and book its place in next year’s youth World Cup in Bangladesh. He is counting heavily on the players who helped Canada win last year’s Under-17 Americas crown in Bermuda and are now integral members of the Under-19 team.
“Most of the players know what it takes to win at the regional level because they have been there before in youth cricket and have had success,” said Barrow. “I am expecting them to lead from the front in our quest to get to another World Cup.”
