In Saturday’s first of three T20 games between Canadian College Cricket and American College Cricket: American CC won the toss and elected to bat but did not bat very well. American CC 85 all out from 14.3 overs. Canadian CC’s openers hit some early boundaries, one opener survived a couple of lbw appeals. Anand Erramilli fell for 41, his opening partner went on to hit the game winning 6 after 9.2 overs when Canadian CC reached 91/2.

Runs flowed early and freely in the Canadian innings, the two top scorers were the openers.
The two Adityas (Aditya Raj with 56 and Aditya Santhanam 42) gave the American innings a good start but three middle order batsmen then made between just 3 and 5. Sahil struck 41 in between Yug Rao taking 4 wickets.
The Great White North was closer to white hot than ice and snow. Outfield grass is kept short and the ground was designed to meet the needs of middle school players.
