Canada HP squad beats Bermuda

The Canadian High Performance squad- essentially an A team – is in Bermuda to play three matches. The Canadian XI won a low scoring, rain affected opening match. The Canadian XI won the toss and put Bermuda in. After Bermuda made a reasonable start (28/0), 15 year-old left arm seamer Rishiv Joshi took three wickets to reduce them to 43/5. Bermuda were dismissed for 92, with Joshi taking 3/ 19, Nikhil Dutta 3/19, Saad Zafar 2/3, and Quebec spinner Malinga Wijethilaka 1/24.
After a rain delay Canada chased 72 in 24 overs. They made heavy weather of this, with five wickets going down for 40, before finally recording a 4 wicket win, with 3 overs to spare. Mohamed Kamileen top-scored with 20, and Saad Zafar contributed 18.
