The York Regional Athletic Association announced the schedules earlier this week for the 2014-2015 outdoor cricket championship playoffs. In the championship semi-finals, due to be played next Tuesday (Oct 14, 2014), Bur Oak will play RIchmond Hill (9.15am start) followed by Pierre Elliott Trudeau v Middlefield (12.45pm start). The semi-final winners advance to the final, due to be played next Thursday (Oct 16 at 12.45pm start), while the losing semi-finalists will meet in the playoff to decide third place (Oct 16 at 9.15am). These matches will be played at Fairtree Community Park, Markham. Ontario.

The consolation playoffs began this Wednesday (Oct 7) when Father McGivney beat Stephen Lewis 33/32 and Maple beat Bill Crothers by 13 runs. Maple High School scored 65 runs, Bill Crothers replied with 52. So Father McGivney will play Maple next Wednesday in the consolation final (Oct 15 at 12.45pm) and Stephen Lewis will meet Bill Crothers earlier in the day in the game to decide the wooden spoon (Oct 15 at 9.15am).
