The Canadian U19s will play for last place at the U19 World Cup after losing to Ireland, a last minute addition to the tournament, and a team they had beaten in a warm-up match. It was a one sided loss, as well, as Canada were bowled out for 139. Arslan Khan made 47 from 88 balls, and 26 from number 11 Wijayaraj was second highest score. Ireland had no trouble chasing down the target in 34.3 overs, losing four wickets in the process. They now play the loser of Fiji against Scotland on February 11.
