April 4: Canada v Barbados Defence Force Sports (BDFSP). BDFSP 211 all out (J Stuart 80, A Greenidge 68, C Pervez 3 – 32, S Zafar 3-32, A Khalid 2-44); Canada 212/3 (N Dutta 87*, V Sehdev 61)

On April 7, Canada beat the UWI Blackbords by 102 runs, making 300 from their 50 overs, led by 88 (53 balls, 8 sixes) from Rizwan Cheema, and 64* from Saad bin Zafar. Nikhil Dutta led the bowlers, taking 4/18 as the UWI team were bowled out for 198.

Meanwhile national team captain Nitish Kumar continues to show good form for Loughborough, with an innings of 57 against Derbyshire
