Twelve members of Canada’s national cricket team will be in Mississauga over the next week to play in a series of matches kicking off an innovative new league. The Ontario Premier League was established in May with a draft of players at the Red Rose Convention Centre in Mississauga…. Tournament organizers say the OPL has generated a lot of fan interest and they’re expecting a good turnout for the tournament, sponsored by Chevrolet Canada.
“All of the matches will be very exciting. And not only exciting but competitive and entertaining as well,” said OPL founder Ranjit Saini.
