The Auty Cup series continued with a 50-over match between Canada and the USA, prior to T20 televised matches on Sunday. Canada batted first, and slipped to 46/3, Kumar making a duck, Limbada 12 and the in-form Gunasekera 23. Bagai, returning to the team after missing the 2-day match, and Daesrath (captaining the team) put together a big partnership. Bagai contributed 56 to the partnership of 148 and Daesrath started slowly but accelerated after he passed fifty. The run rate slowed around the 40th over, as Jimmy Hansra had trouble getting the ball away but faced the majority of the bowling. Daesrath reached his hundred at exactly a run per ball, with fives sixes and seven fours, and Hansra, after scoring 2 from 17 balls finally broke free with a six. Deasrath added one more six before being caught for 109, his first century for Canada. Canada finished at 252 all out, with Hansra 22 from 30 balls.
