Heavy rains that resulted in flooding in Fredericton and various places in New Brunswick caused the postponement of last Saturday’s (July 27) scheduled game between New Brunswick and Nova Scotia in the 2013 Maritimes 40-over Championship.
The game will be re-arranged for a date during August or September.
Nova Scotia’s other scheduled games in the 2013 Maritimes 40-over championship are:
August 10 Nova Scotia v New Brunswick (Halifax, NS)
August 24 Prince Edward Island v Nova Scotia (Stratford, PEI)
September 13 Nova Scotia v Prince Edward Island (Halifax, NS)
Dates for the games between New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island will be advised in due course.
Nova Scotia – Halifax League 2013 Finals
The finals of Nova Scotia’s T20 championship are scheduled for September 14. The semi-final of the Nova Scotia 40-over competition is due on October 5, when the second and third placed teams in the four-team standings will meet to decide who plays the top placed team in the final on October 6. The following weekend of October 12 and 13 provides the reserve dates for the 40-over competition.
