The 2013 Virtue Cup is scheduled to be played this coming Monday (August 5th) at Beacon Hill Park in Victoria, British Columbia between teams representing the Victoria and District Cricket Association (VDCA) and the British Columbia Mainland Cricket League (BCMCL). Play is due to begin at noon (12 pm).
The VDCA named the following squad for this annual inter-city challenge game: Gaurav Kumar (captain), Usman Anwer, Ravi Bachal, Vikram Bawa, Stephen Cannon, Rajpal Chauhan, Trenton Schulz-Franco, Ty Holtan, Omer Khan, Samad Khan, Dushyant Kohli, Abhishek Koneri, Andy Scott, Vatsai Shah, Kulvir Sidhu and Paramdeep Singh.
The VDCA extends bets of luck to both teams in this match and “encourages all VDCA members and clubs to join us on Monday for a 12 noon start.” Snacks and refreshments will be available in the pavilion.
