Play expected this week in the Nova Scotia Snow Cricket Championship

The plywood boards, supplied by the local Home Hardware store, have been placed in the snow, so the inaugural Nova Scotia Snow Cricket championship expected to go ahead on Saturday (February 22) at the Annapolis West Education Centre field, Annapolis Royal, Nova Scotia.

The event had to be pushed back due to melted snow that was likely to turn into ice last week. Hopefully the weather will cooperate this week. The tournament is organized by the newly founded Annapolis County Cricket Club. Play is expected to start at 10am, according to the Club’s facebook page.
