Fletcher’s Meadow Secondary School beat Central Peel Secondary School in the final of the Brampton section of the CIMA Boys High School cricket tournament on Tuesday. Fletcher’s Meadow topped one of two three-team groups that played qualifying matches at the Dixie-Sandalwood Park. Central Peel qualified as the team with the best run rate after playing in the four team group that had been in action at Batsman Park. Louise Arbour won that four team group but then lost to Central Peel in a semi-final game on the south ground at Dixie-Sandalwood Park.
Sandalwood Heights, winners of the other three team qualification group, lost to Fletcher’s Meadow in semi-final action on the north ground at Dixie-Sandalwood Park.
