The Toronto Softball Cricket Tournament starting today (Friday Sept 4, 2015) at the Ellesmere Reservoir (Guyana Times article) and continues through Sunday (Sept 6, 2015). It is the first international tournament to be hosted by Ontario Masters Softball Cricket Club.
Six teams are in the All Stars Open section and eight in the Masters section. All Stars section comprises New York Softball Cricket League (NYSCL), New York Enforcers, Caribbean Sensation SC, Ontario Softball Cricket League and Masters/Cove Sports Club. The Masters section includes two teams from the Guyana Floodlight Softball Cricket League, New York Softball Cricket League, Tri-State Masters and New York Muslim Softball Cricket Association plus three Canadian teams: Ontario Masters SCC, Our Own SC and Caribbean Sensation SC.
