After a big loss against Sri Lanka in their opening match, the Canadian U19 team’s task got no easier as they faced a powerful Pakistan squad in their second.
Canada won the toss and chose to bat. 15 year-old Bhavindu Adhihetty made a patient 51, supported by Amish Taploo (28) and captain Abraash Khan (44) as Canada totalled 179. This proved to be an easy target for Pakistan who won by 7 wickets with 10 overs in hand.
