Kevin Naress reaches three figures

Ontario Reds U17 beat British Columbia U17 the opening day (July 4, 2016) of the 2016 Under-17 Canada Cup at the Iceland Ground, Mississauga (home ground of the Mississauga Ramblers). Kavian Naress, batting at 5, top-scored for Ontario Reds with 106 in a total of 308 all out from 49.4 overs. Opening bat Emanuel Khokhar Jr. struck 76. Later batting saw Krishen Samuel make 38 and Rahmankhan Pathan chipped in with 20. Arslan Khan made 22, batting at 4.
Blake Seebaran picked up 2 early wickets for BC and ended the innings with 3 more wickets.. Seebaran ended with 5/56 from 9.4 overs. Fathour Raman took 3/39 from 7 overs.
Three of the BC top four reached double figures then most of the other batters struggled until last man Himanshu Rawat picked up 14*. Rahmankhan Pathan captured 4/22 (8 overs) and Aran Pathmanathan took 3/11 from 9 overs.
The game was played on the artificial wicket at Iceland, not on any of the grass wickets.
