
York University squeezed out a win with one ball to spare against the University of Toronto’s Mississauga campus in the final of the inaugural CIMA Universities cricket championship today (Saturday June 13, 2015). U of T Mississauga scored 76/5 from 15 overs in the final. York University replied with 77/3 from 14.5 overs.
The final, played on the north pitch at Sunnybrook Park, Toronto, took place in sun and heat on a day that began with cloud cover almost threatening further rain and storms.
