The ICC Americas squad are playing in the West Indies regional 50-over tournament, and have a strong Canadian representation. Jamaica won the toss and chose to bat. The Americas made a good start with two early wickets, one of them to Jeremy Gordon who returned later in the innings to pick up 2 more wickets finishing with 3/32. Jamaica recovered to make 260/8 thanks largely to a century from Andre McCarthy. Gunasekera was caught and bowled early in the reply and Nitish Kumar (42) provided the only real resistance, making the majority of the Americas 76 all out.
