The series between Ontario women and Eastern Canada women, originally expected to take place on July 1 and 2, 2016, has been postponed. It is anticipated that it this series for the Eastern Canada Women’s Championship will now take place in mid-July 2016.

The Western women’s championship is due to be played at Victoria Park, Edmonton, Alberta on the weekend of July 16-17, 2016 between Alberta and British Columbia. An Alberta women’s league began operation this summer, despite the challenges faced by the participating Fort Murray teams. The Alberta league includes a team from each of Edmonton and Calgary.
