Nitish Kumar

Canadian national team player Nitish Kumar is part of the St. Lucia Zouks squad in the Caribbean Premier League that got underway yesterday. Kumar was part of the team that beat the Trinbago Knight Riders in the opening match of the tournament. Nitish was not needed to bat, but bowled three overs, conceding 21 runs and taking the wicket of Hashim Amla. His team-mates include shane Watson, Mike Hussey and Darren Sammy, and this will be great experience for the 22 year old Canadian, as well as demonstrating a Canadian born and trained player can make it to the professional ranks
